Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

This policy explains what information Patchy (“Patchy,” “we,” “us”) receives through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Patchy is operated from the United States. You can reach us anytime at email us.

The short version: This is a marketing website. For analytics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate — no cookies, no cross-site trackers, and no profile of you. Aside from that and standard server logs, we only receive personal information if you choose to give it to us — by emailing us or by joining our mailing list — and we never sell or share it.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. If you email us or join our mailing list, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • Mailing list. If you sign up for our mailing list, we collect the email address you provide so we can send you product news and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us.
  • Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard server information, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to operate and secure the site. We do not use these logs to track or identify individual visitors.

Cookies and tracking

We use Vercel Web Analytics — provided by Vercel, our hosting provider — to understand aggregate traffic to this site: which pages are viewed, the site that referred you, your approximate location (country, region, or city), and your browser, operating system, and device type. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, uses no local storage, and creates no persistent identifier or fingerprint that follows you across sessions or other websites. To count visitors without cookies, Vercel derives a hash from your request that rotates daily, so it cannot be used to track you across days or across sites. Your IP address is processed only briefly to derive that hash and your approximate location; it is not stored in the analytics data.

We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not use cross-context behavioral-advertising trackers. We host our own fonts, so loading a page does not send your information to a third-party font service. Because the site sets no non-essential cookies, there is nothing to consent to and we show no cookie banner. If we add any further analytics or tracking, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls the law requires before turning it on.

How we use information

  • To reply to you when you contact us.
  • To send mailing-list emails you asked to receive.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website.

How we share information

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site — currently Vercel, for hosting and website analytics — which process information only on our behalf. If we add a mailing-list provider, we will name it here.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. You can also email us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU / UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act; email us and we will honor any rights that apply to you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Our analytics is cookieless and does not track you across websites, and we do not sell or share personal information — so there is nothing for these signals to turn off.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention

We keep your mailing-list email address until you unsubscribe. We keep emails you send us for as long as needed to respond and for our ordinary business records.

Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States, and the limited information described here is processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above, and we will note significant changes more prominently where appropriate.
